Bay Leaf Cottage in Kirkby Stephen is a charming 4-star holiday home that truly feels like a home away from home. the house is beautifully decorated and the beds are incredibly comfortable, perfect for a good night's sleep after a day of exploring the nearby Yorkshire Dales National Park and North Pennines. The well-equipped kitchen made it easy to whip up some meals for my family, and the free wifi was a great bonus for my teenagers. We also enjoyed the beautiful garden and the easy access to cycling routes nearby. Despite needing a bit more deep cleaning, we were impressed with the welcome pack and the abundance of information provided by the host. the location was ideal for exploring both the Peak District and the Lake District, and we even found a fantastic chippy just 2 minutes away. Overall, Bay Leaf Cottage was a cozy and convenient choice for our family holiday. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others looking for a peaceful retreat in the countryside. Plus, the sauna was a nice touch for some relaxation after a day of sightseeing.
